Brian Agin |
| Rocky Hill Wiffleball League |
| Brian died on May 11, 2000 from a heart aneurysm. He was one of the original eight wiffleball players at the Rocky Hill Field. Brian also was a constant regular at the old Douglas Drug Field in the early 1990's. He was a true competitor and could back up his talk with his superior pitching and outstanding hit. He went undefeated 4-0 during the 1999 season. He was the only player in wiffleball history to have a career 1.000 winning percentage. He went on to win the 1999 Cy Agin award (named after him) with his unbelievable pitching stats, 2-0 0.83 ERA and 10 strikeouts in only 7 1/3 innings pitched. He was untouchable during that stretch. He missed winning the 1999 MVP, but not by very much. He posted an uncanny .500 AVG and a .650 SLG that year which are both tops in the career wiffleball stats. |
