Casey Slyvester |
| Wiffleball 2K |
| Despite a final two seasons of severely diminished play, Casey Sylvester left enough memories of dominant play and appreciated loyalty to become the 5th man inducted into the Hall of Fame. He debuted in 1996 as a wire-thin boy among men who slowly built on his athleticism to put together, in 2000 and 2001, two of the best all-around seasons in league history (not performed by Scott Carmichael). Over the course of those two years he hit 52 HRs with 107 RBIs in only 317 ABs while batting .375 and compiling a mere 2.33 ERA. Due to sporadic play in 2002 and 2003, Casey's batting stats paled in comparison to his glory years, but his pitching became more and more unhittable. In his final 41 IP, his ERA was 1.56 and he struck out 6.93 batters every 4 IP. And he did it with so much flair that all of the sudden, pitching footage became worthy of highlight reels. |
