Joshua Smith
Garrett Drive Wiffleball League
The father of the GDWL, who runs the league in a non bias fashion, " Dr. Funky Green" has brought wiffleball to West Virginia. At 5'10'', 150 lbs you wouldn't expect such a pip-squeek to be such a premier player in a league sport.  Josh Smith has proven those assumptions wrong with his skinny frame and lack of phisique.  He's dominated the pitching rhelm of the league with his zippy fastball and dropout splitters and forks.  With one of the lowest career ERAs and impressive amount of strikeouts - Smith has definately established himself as a dominate pitcher in the GDWL. Where Smith has really been effective at is leading off the batting lineup where he's more comfortable playing.  Despite the slap hits and hits up the gap, Smith is the most successful "power" hitter in the league with the most homeruns and RBIs in the league's history.  The outfield is where Smith has consistently thrived since the league's beginning in 2002.  Not many popflys and grounders make it past him.  Smith's feet are quick and he's made several catches over the years and has become feared by powerhitters and contact hitters alike.
